rofl3.gif This is probably pretty silly souding, but im pretty excited about it. Yesturday when i went to check params and do my weekly water change I noticed algea in my tank AGAIN, and I had scrubbed and scrubbed last friday, and all was about back. Well I got looking, and alot of it is turning a lush green! Ive heard this is a good sign, means a healthy tank! Although the algea looks yucky on something, the lush green algea is very tolerable.

Well I am glad you are excited. And you are right, it is alot more tolerable than brown algae.
I myself have a likeing to "hair algae" it is lovely when it flows in the current. Algae is a funny little thing it will either drive you nuts or make you and the gf happy. They love to snack on it.

Yeah ive noticed my goldies munching it every now and then. My ramshorn also loves it. That brown algea is just horrible to look at. It was driving me nuts. It looked so dirty, but this green algea looks nice. Has a nice shade of green, and looks natural. Like it should be there.

I let the green algae grow all over the back and side walls of my tank....its nice and furry now.....I thnk it looks really pretty, and natural, not to mention it hides the filters and wires behind the tank!

I agree, I hate brown algae! and when Algae grows on my fake plants and decor...yuck!
