Nothing special as far as I can tell. They look different than the common rectangular tank and everyone is always looking for something new and different.
I have a corner bow front - it looks like 1/4 of a pie. It fits into a corner - allows me to have a fairly large tank in a smaller space. I like that.
I have found that the bowed glass does
slightly change your viewing perspective of the tank - you cannot be looking in the center and properly see a fish that is on the edge of the bow in the front. The curve of the glass causes reflections. This is in the extreme arch of the corner bow front. Ones with a lesser arc will have lesser distortions.
