I used to have some tropicals and the symptoms were the same as ick. Im just wondering. looking for clouser i guess.

Yup, they sure can! Actually, goldies and tropicals get a lot of the same diseases, parasites, and infections. The treatment can be different, though.

Yes, as Squeeker mentioned, tropicals get ich and it looks the same as on goldfish.

Sorry to hear about your fish, Esareh. I had a horrible outbreak of ich last summer with some mollies and guppies that I had. I tried to have a really pretty tropical tank, and it ended up a disaster!

I saved a few of the mollies, but not much else.

oh, its ok, they were ones i had when i was, like, 8 years old. (im 12 now) i still think of em though...

thanks for that. it was nice and made me feel better. I rember the male. spot. he was silver with a yellow and black spotted tail and the female was named crystal. she was silver with an icy blue and white tail hence the name crystal.
