hi, me again i'm afraid! (sorry...)

after all my betta hassles so far, from my own mistakes, i now have another issue - my male won't eat. i've had them since wednesday, and i've not seen him eat ANYTHING at all. i've tried them on freezedried bloodworms, which the female loves, and today i got some hikari betta pellets, which once again the female gobbled up, but the male refuses to eat anything sad.gif i guess he's feeling a bit rough now he's minus half his fins and has some fungus problems, but i'm trying my best to sort those out...why won't he eat? he's going to starve to death soon, i'm sure ill.gif

i knew i should have stuck to goldfish.................

A lot of Betta won't eat pellets. They're picky eaters I think XD. Mine refuse even freeze dried blood worms, although they will eat freeze dried Brine Shrimp. When I first put blood worms into their tanks they gobble it up and then spit it out as if to say, "You expect me to eat this? I don't think so." What I would do is get a little frozen food and perhaps induce him to eat with a little of that. Most fish will not turn down frozen foods when given the option ^_^. I started my betta on it and have since transferred them to the freeze dried, which is more cost effective. I hope to gradually get them eating some blood worms soon.
