Full Version: Do Baby Snails Shed Their Shells?

I have 5 baby snails and it looks like their ligther brown snails are turing and shedding their shells and becoming darker brown. Thanks for any adivce. Are they dying or hurt or just turning bigger?

On the last topic you started about this, you were told that snails do not shed their shells. But if you could post a pic of what you are talking about I'm sure someone can help.

I have never posted a topic about this, i have posted a topic about how big the big the baby snails are going to get, i will try to get pictures.

If you are finding empty shells then yes the snails are dead. Snails create shells and when they die thats all they leave behind.
