Hi, I've got a 25 gallon tank with 2 comets, and I wanted to know if there are any kinds of small fish that I can add? I'm going to put a bristlenose peco in, also. Thanks in advance.

rosy reds and white clouds will do. I'm pretty sure that they are minnows, correct me if i'm wrong.

Although depending on how large your comets are, I believe they might be able to eat the White Clouds, however it could work out if you have enough cover for the minnows to hide in.

The comets are only 2 inches long, at maximum. Their mouths are reeaally small, I found this out when feeding them pieces of orange. I'm sure they'll be fine, if it starts to cause a problem I'll buy some sort of thing that has holes only the white clouds can go into.

The comets are trying to catch the white clouds, but they are too fast/big for the goldfish to eat. I'm hoping that the goldies will realize not to eat them.

A few people put white cloud minnows with there goldies. I personaly
would keep your tank how it is.
Comets need at least 15 gallons each, And your getting a Bristle nose pleco so thats another 5 to 10 to 15 gallons.
Your comets will do alright for a few more months in the 25 gallon but you'll need to upgrade it soon.,

When the goldfish get bigger, I'm moving the white clouds and the pleco to another tank, so the comets can have the whole thing themselves.

The new tank? or the one there in now.

The one they're in now. I'll probably get a 10 gl tank for the pleco and minnows.

Alright, although you do know that the rule for comets is
15 gallons each minimum. since you have 2 you should maby upgrade
there tank into a 35 gallon then you'll have room for the pleco. Then you
can maby make the 25 gallon into a tropical tank with the minnows or
get more goldfish.
(Its all up to you, although the 25 gallon won't be able to hold them much longer since these guys can grow up to 12 inches)

I can't upgrade, that's the problem. ): These were from a friend who would have taken horrible care of them, I really didn't want to let her take care of 4 goldfish, when she was keeping them in bowls. I asked her for 2, so basically anything bigger than a bowl should be like heaven to them. I know they need 15 gallons each, but it's not possible for me to get a 35 gallon tank now, that's why I was going to let them have it to themselves when they get bigger. It's not 15 gallons each, but it's better than a fish bowl each. :\
I hope that makes sense. I really wish I could give them more space.

Just keep up your water changes and make sure you have enough filtration. I agree that a 25 gallon tank with someone who cares is much better than a bowl

absolutely... congrats on giving them a nice big filtered tank!
as for the minnows, i would plan on moving them when you can... the goldfish will try to eat them when they get big enough and even if they could hide it would be pretty stresfful on the minnows.
good luck
