a 27gallon tank? i know its not long, its going to be temporary. but how long can a whisper 10 hold out on a 27g tank? thanks.

It depends on how often you change your water, if it is temporary, it will be alright.
It does 90gph, so it is 3.3 times per hour, the recommended is i think 10x. But your fish will be alright.

Finally! Another person with a Whisper 10! I have one of them in my tank along with a TopFin 60. I've tried a Whisper 10 in a 20 gallon before and it dosent do very well, but with an air pump, it does well, (temporarily I mean). Or, you can get a TopFin 20 instead (if thats an option to you)

I had a Whisper 10 on my 20 gal for a little while. It did ok, but you will need to be sure to siphon your tank every week, or else it can get gross fast, until you get another filter or a better one. And air stone or wall would help also to keep the water moving.
