What is the perfect temp for goldfish? Black Moor and a Fantail?
Right now I have a steady 70F - 21C to hot? to cold?

Goldfish can live in varying temps. Very cold temps even. I keep my tank a constant of 72F. If you dont like, you dont even need to keep a heater in the tank. I do just so its at a constant temp. 70F sounds just fine.

Thanks for the reply. I do like to keep a steady temp for my fish. So I will leave it at the 70 for now unless others recommend that I raise it.

Your welcome.
There really isnt no need to raise it or lower it. Goldies have even lived in near freezing conditions. Im sure their happy with a constant 70F.
Good Luck

Blackmoor(or other blackfish) need the cold temperature(not below 15c) to keep them from bronzing or goldish.

Goldfish can adapt to various temperature provided it does not fluctuate too much on the same day. What is important is the amount of feed and type of feed given at the various temperature range?
