will you be getting males and females or just one sex? if its males and females then the ratio is 1 male to 3 or 4 females. for mixed sex tanks you will need to think about the fry as well. so for a 27 u.s gallon tank then 15 guppies maybe but if you have good filtration then maybe as many as 20. But some females are a lot bigger than males so stick to the 15 if you are thinking of any females.
You really need someone who has a tank load of guppies to let you know how many they have. smile.gif

Because in a single month you can have 62. wink.gif

Actually, probably only one..... because if it is female she will most likely be already pregnant. laugh.gif

The rule of thumb is one inch of fish per gallon - or one guppy per gallon. I have a few more than that.....but I move them out regularly as they get bigger.....

Alot of people don't really seem to mind over stocking their guppy tanks.

Oh , and of course not, a guppy and goldfish can not breed. There both VERY
diffrent types of fish.
