I was at my LFS today and was browsing at the snails...I happened to read the tag...and lo and behold...its said

Pomecia Bridge.

Grows to 4+ inches in diameter.

Eats Algae.

just thought Id share this...I got a laugh!! biggrin.gif

Bridge. its supposed to be Brigdseii...or something close to that.....

Well at least it was rather close, there real names are Pomacea bridgesii

Everywhere around here labels every snail as "mysery." What's the big mystery, they're usually canas or brigs.

Maybe they call them mystery snails because they didnt know what breed they were when pet shops first starting selling them. Also, maybe it's because these snails are illegal in some areas so by classing them as "Mystery Snails" it hides thier true identity. huh.gif
