1/2 a cup of mashed up raw patatoes
1/4 a cup of thawed warmed slightly peas
verrrrrrry small peice of orange, no seeds, no rind
1/2 pinch of wardles goldfish flakes
a tiny slice of mashed up carrot
a palm full of bread crumbs for texture and stick togetherness (only word i could think of)
(water added sparangly of course)
mixed all up and frozen. cuting enough off for a week.
Is that an ok recipie for the kids? you know, as a special dinner on the weekends? is there anything i should take off or add? (i have to make it with things around the house. no blood worms or shrimpies. Pooooor fish...) is it ok? all suggestions will be appreciated.

It sounds good to me, only the bread crumbs should be either left out or soaked in water before adding.

Esareh if you look at the top of this forum you can find Gel food receipes that are formulated to give a good balence in the diet. I don't know about the bread, I would leave it out.
I think you might do better to follow the gel receipe, it is proven not to mess with water. I would be afraid yours may break apart and yuck up the water.

Remember they need the flakes and pellets too. I bet they are loving that orange.

Hi,
It is neat that you are experimenting. But one thing to remember is that goldfish are mainly protein eaters. So potatoes are not really a good idea--too much carbs.
Fruit is fine as an occasional treat. But they do need protein.
