Happy Easter to you all. My 2 goldfish (black moor and ryukin) have been being treated for ich and yesterday all of the white spots on their bodies have fallen off. Thanks to everyone for the tips on the aquarium salt and water changes because bringing that tank to 0.3% over 36 hours and doing the 50% water changes to bring those nitrates and nitrites down worked WAY better than any of the copper sulfate or the cure-ich that the LFS employees were telling me to put into my tank. That stuff didn't even touch the ich, in fact i think i heard them laughing.

Anyway the last white spot dropped off today and i am continuing the salt and the water changes for another 10 days. But now when my 2 goldfish poop, instead of the thicker normal looking consistency, i am getting this long stringy clear poop. Is this normal after the salt treatment? Because i read somewhere that this is indicative of an internal bacterial infection. Thanks for the help.

Sorry we didn't get back to you sooner.

I am not sure, are you seeing this poop all the time? I would give it a day or so and see, if you still are I would do a round of medicated food.
