im going to be indulging in some nice guppies soon and have one at the moment who has finrot on and off and have heard this is a very common problem so i was wondering if there was any way to avoid it like using salt or something?

livebearers like to have salt in the tank amy. Try .2% and hopefully that will be enough to kep the finrot away. Try to get the tonic salt aqualibrium.

I think sandy is 100% right, One of my guppies was getting finrot
on and off and after i started to add salt for them, she never had finrot
again
