I tried to get some hikari lionhead, but its not to be.. so i was wondering about the Tetrafin Exotic
http://www.petco.com/product_info.asp?fami...Brand&ct3=Tetrait looks pretty good. and my "kids" are getting to big for granuels. they are eating a mix of Marineland Bio-blend goldfish and tetrafin crisps with alittle frozen food for fun.

It looks like it'll need to be soaked a bit longer then other foods cause it may be proned to SBD accidents based on the ingridients...

so not a good one? gah.. i have tried soaking the regular hikari goldfish for HOURS and i still floats and upsets my SBD fish.... what in the ingredients causes floats?

actually SBD is somewhat based on air pockets food may contain, and usually food sticks are highly concentrated so it may be a bit harder to drain out the air. and things that have high carb may contribute by causing contipation IE corn starch/meal wheat and potatoes. ALONE they make good ruffage to remove particles in the intestinal tracks but packed together like in a food stick may cause a bit of a problem if not soaked I would try it though if i have it, as I may be wrong, a first hand experience can beat any text book knowledge any day.

I got some just to try, and it works pretty well! My SBD guy actually handles is pretty well with minamle (sp?) soaking. and they LOVE it! though the best food i have found for the SBD is Bio-Blend, never gives Sharky any trouble.
