Does Guppies go well with goldfishes? Can Guppies hurt gold fishes? Because i saw 2 guppies poke at one small gold fish over a week ago, and it stopped quite quickly, but a week later one of my small gold fish that was poked lost one of his eye (This is on another message board that is under diseases) sorry for the double posting.

Its a big no, Guppies are tropical. The temp is diffrent, there rather small
and there very nippy fish and will be buging and stressing out
your goldies alot. And if your goldfish are big enough... your goldfish
might make a meal out of the guppies.

I fully agree with Black Oranda. Guppies should not be kept with goldfish. For one, guppies like warmer water and more salt than goldfish generally do. Secondly, they are small and goldfish get rather large and the guppies will be fishfood.

By the way, no offense but if you were to scroll down a bit on the compatible fish page, you will see that there are 4 different threads asking your very same question. In the future, try reading through all the posts before asking your questions. You might just find a plethora of answers without the effort of typing a new question. Just a tip. wink.gif
