Hey!! What type of food is better for goldfish becuase i have both:
Slow Sinking Pellets or
Goldfish Flakes
Please help!!! Tell me!

Dean, both are good. Of course the sinking foods are better so they don't eat off the surface.
If you soak the flakes first and put them in the tank they should fall to the bottom.

I am going to move the thread to the food section.

I would rather feed my goldies slow sinking pellets... Then they haver less of a chance of getting SBD. They are better in my opinion.

I feed my goldies both. I soak the flakes for a minute before i feed them to my goldies, that way the sink. Plus, my goldies LOVE chasing the flakes around as they fall to the bottom of the tank.

Different foods are good, but the flakes can be soaked to make it sink too. And there is no need to feed only one kind

Well when i feed them the filter water that comes out it makes them sink so they do not eat off the surface and they do not like the slow sinking pellets.
