Nope, they are just fine. They are a good source of protein for
your kids. They make a great snack now and then. smile.gif

AWESOME, I love watching my fish try to eat anything that falling in the tank(like my new black moor rofl3.gif ) I wonder is they will eat live flies. That would be cool watching my fish swimming after a fly trying to eat it alive. Hungry.gif ( ITS JAWS laugh.gif )

Wow that is great to know! In the summer flys tend to get in my house. I usually kill, and toss them. I think I will try putting one in there to see what they do. Are there anyother bugs you can put in there for your fish to eat. Are there any that could be harmful?
Fishbert
The only thing I would be concerned about is the probable transfer of diseases. Flies aren't exactly the cleanest animals in the world.
calico4
Yeah they arent clean, but you could kill them and wash it off. I just kill it and put it in there, it doesnt seem to affect them. I was thinking about feeding them mosquitoes when it becomes season, but they might be carring a disease. crap.gif

if you have a hard time swatting the flies, try squirting them with a spraybottle full of water!
