I had the same reaction when I first made gel food. The smell is overwhelming, but I got all excited when I saw how much they loved it. Its worth the nastiness of it all. Especially when they're getting so much of the foods they love, and the nutrients they need, in one big glob of disgusting gelatin.

I've never made it but that sounds hilarious!

I made gel food last night. I talked my hubby into tasting it for me, he really did!

Ewwww, I still haven't made any yet, maybe tomorrow afternoon, but i don't think i'm going to try it. What did he say it tasted like?

He just made a face and said he could taste the salmon in it.
He'll taste anything!
