i have 5 goldies. i have not been able to sex them properly. i'm new to that and i can't seem to tell even with looking at all the great photos. i know that my origonal 3 are at least a yr old since i've had them that long. the other two i'm not sure of. from the amount of chasing i'm pretty sure that i have at least two females, my oranda and my white/yellow fantail. the one who keeps chasing them is my orange fantail. and just recently my little black moor has started chasing my oranda too. my comet is not interested in anyone yet. rolleyes.gif and i know it's the mating type chase, they keep bumping my girls' bums with thier noses. but nothing has happened. are they just practicing for when they are old enough? and when are they old enough to breed? i keep looking for the breeding stars on my boys. i thought i saw one on the moor, but now i'm not so sure. it might have just been a bubble ( he loves to play in the bubbles!). i keep looking, but i see no signs of actual eggs or anything.

what do you all think?

i have a moor that loves bubbles! lol.GIF that moor was also chasing my pearlscale for about 3 months until we actually had eggs! i think there comes a point when even the females that arent interested just give up and let it happen. so keep your eye out! wink.gif good luck!
