I bought a ramshorn snail (hes quite large) on Saturday. He's been doing great in my 55 gallon goldie tank. Well, this morning, when I peaked in to check how everything was, I noticed a big blob on one of my big leafy plants (I also bought some live plants when I got him also). It looks like a round clear blob, with little white dots in it, im assuming are eggs. Last night after a water change, my boyfriend saw a strigy of white ozzie stuff, with little spots, and he thought they were eggs, but I wasnt sure. Well now im thinking this spot on the leaves are possably eggs.
What do you all think?

Hehehehehehe, cool!
Well, I'm not expert, but we had the same thing and they most definately were eggs!
They hatched, and sure enough, lots of babies!
From what I have seen.....
Either, the goldies eat them (or most of them, as in our case, so we were left with a suitable number) or,
they survive and get at it as soon as possible! hehe. Honestly, they're always climbing on each other, in groups also! hehe!
I love these snails, the tank just wouldn't be the same without them.

Well I just looked a minute ago and my goldies still havent messed with the eggs. For some reason, the plant the snail laid them on is the plant my goldies dont like to munch on very much. They LOVE the other three, but that one doesnt strick their fancy. Im hoping they make it! How long does it take for them to hatch? A couple of weeks or so? Im hoping they make it!
