Hi!!! i am just wondering if anyone has fry that they do not want becuase i am really looking to get some baby fish becuase i have always wanted to have baby fish!!!!!
And if anyone has an old 10 gallon tank stand that they do not want that would be great as well!!!

LOL. platys are my favorite livebearers, theyre chubby and cute!! smile.gif

Dean, fry are a ton of work, and require certain things for them to be happy and healthy. It isn't the easiest thing to start the hobby with, and certainly is nothing for a beginner. Platies might be much better for that purpose, those are live bearers, and start eating their parents food right away, while goldfish fry have to have their special diet and all.
They surely aren't all that good to keep in a 10 gl tank, they need much more space than that....smile.gif

i think, the EASIEST frys for a beginner to take care of is regular guppies. theyre the livebearer equivalent of GF. if you have TWO guppies of different sex, youd have frys for awhile.

maybe if you could ask your mom to get your 2 breeder guppies? i mean, its wayyyy cheaper than getting from online. which is +shipping, which is sometimes expensive depending where you live. smile.gif

Our beighbor's mom is getting me some guppies for free becuase she has ton becuase the ones that our neighbor has are babies of her moms and she is giving me some
