Here I am, setting about to change some of the water of a WAY too small tank for my 5 4-6 inch fish (2 orandas and 3 comets - a temporary home after their pond cracked in the cold), and are these fish eggs I find on the filter? Sorry, no pics, but I can't think of anything else that would be clear-ish, gelatinous and full of teeny-tiny white spots. And this merely hours after sending out a cry for help after noticing white spots on the comets gills and thinking it was some kind of fungus (my message about that is on the disease board)...
Imagine coming back from 2 months abroad to a cracked pond, cramped and dirty aquarium (the best their caretaker could do in the emergency), and now this...what do I do?!!!

Maybe Moosefactory's fish is about to become a Fishfactory...
Maybe a snail has decided to lay eggs there?

There are snails in the tank, but tiny ones, and just a couple. How many eggs could a couple of mini-snails lay?

WOW! That is so great! I am so happy for you. Considering the spots on you fishies gills, I would bet that they are eggs from your goldie! Congrats. Do you know if your male has fertilized them yet? Because if he has and you want to keep the eggs, you need to get them out of there. Your fishies will eat them if you leave them! Good Luck! Keep us posted!
