I don't know if Deirdre already posted the results of our intensive treatment - Faith, on the betta board, recommended one full month of Jungle Fungus eliminator and then a month of bettamax for persistent finrot. Deirdre did it - I helped with one water change - and, though it took a long time and he looked a little worse in the middle of the treatment, he is much, much better now. He has new growth where the tail was rotting, his color is good and his eyes also are clear tand less swollen. Basically, Faith said, keep treating until you see new growth, even if it takes a mont. It worked!
