I feed mine twice a day too.But I only feed 4 tiny pellets for each fish.

My guys get fed once a day in the evening, peas on saturday and they fast on sunday. They always do the feed me dance for anyone who comes near, I had to work hard at convincing my family that they are not starving just begging.

The native carp (relative of the goldfish) is constantly looking for
food. Most of the time, they only get little bits here and there. So,
it's best to do small amounts a couple times a day. Most people
feed once in the morning and once in the evening. Amounts should
be what they can eat in 2-3 minutes, rather than one big meal once
a day.

With my guys they could probably polish off 2 pounds of pro gold in 2-3 minutes.

12 pellets each 3 times a day, they eat alot and that's on the 2 minute rule

You can feed them twice a day max, i think. Once am once pm.

it depends on the climate/temperature of the water. the hotter it is the faster the metabolism, and the colder it is the slower its metabolism

My GF get fed twice a day, once early morn and once at night, the get fed once on saturday. I only feed pellets once a day, and fresh fruits and veggies the other times. The do however get treats, but they have to work for them. and some times ill feed them to stop them spitting water of the floor. There such obnoxious pigs. Always whining and beggin for foood.

I feed my guys 1-2 granules a day because they'er only 2 inchs long

Mine get fed once or twice. Sometimes it's just once since I have 8 in a 75 gallon, and my nitrates are constantly high. They'll get ProGold at dinner, and sometimes some lettuce, collard greens or blood worms during the day. They'll be going into the 125 here in a few weeks though, so I'm sure I'll start feeding them normally again.

The feeding is all on preference, some yours and some the fishes. Don't want to feed them too much too often or too little. To be honest my fish aren't on a regular schedule, some days they eat once, some twice, some more than that. It depends on a lot of things but the more often i feed them in day, the less i give them each time of course.

I need to know how much, like how many Pro-Gold pellets? I have three 2and 1/2 inch long bubble eyes. I usually soak the pellets for a few minutes first, and then if they are to big i split them in half. But how many of these a day should they get? I usually feed when i get home from work in the afternoon, and then again later in the evening. I have been putting in 4 to 5 pellets each feeding. Is that to much or not enough?

I feed my fish 2-3 times a day,spoiled huh?, I feed a mixture of flakes(sometimes),pellets and shrimp(if they are being good) I got a new little black moor yeaterday(blackie) he is sooo cute.

I feed mine twice a day, every 12 hours. They want to eat alot.

I feed mine One pinch of flake and one pinch of grnaduals at noon and at night M-F
Sat they get one feeding of bloodworms and granduals (I prefer to do one on top and one on the bottom, to make sure all of them get fed)

sunday I usally skip feeding them....
