Alternating what you feed your goldie is good. Just like people,
they like eating different things as well. smile.gif Here's a list of stuff
I've given my goldies: lettuce (darkleaf), spinach, cucumber,
zucchini, oranges, apples, grapes, bananas, watermelon,
pineapple, tangerines, peas, dehydrated seaweed, shrimp, krill,
bloodworms, earthworms(put in paper towel for 2 days
to purge the dirt out of their system). Plus they may like some
other things you'd never think of.

Altering a goldfish's diet is essential. One great thing to do is buy a lettuce clip, clip some lettuce on, and put it in the tank. The fish will love grazing on it. smile.gif Don't leave it in for more than 12 hours, though. lol.GIF

I've heard of knowlegeable goldfish hobbyist feeding them bits of boiled egg yolks & bits of raw ground beef. Have you guys have any experiences with those?

i think those are fries food, after a while a goldie don't need that much protein.
