Oooh, I'm so happy
I just went and checked on the fish, and Wonton has built himself a HUGE bubblenest attached to the silk plant in his tank. He is very pleased with himself, and is currently lurking underneath it and flaring whenever I go near him
It seems as if he has finally fully recovered from his illnesses, and has staked out his territory. I think the mods I made on his filter have helped too. Perviously it was quite choppy, but I changed the airline, and fixed a little gadget over the top to stop the air disturbing the surface.
To be honest, I'm not really very clued up on the whole nest thing. Will he get bored with it and dissolve it? Will he maintain it, or build a new one. What happens when I change the water?

I'm glad that he's feeling back to normal! Bubble Nests are so cool to see.My Levi made them everyday. When I changed the tank water,he just started all over again. Most of my other boys really don't bother much.I think the filter's have alot to do with that too. They usually disolve, and if your guy's into making them,he'll just start one up again.

I'm glad to see that Wonton is following such a good example
There were bubbles ALL over the tank this morning when I topped up the water. He's really angry with me for disturbing his masterpiece, and is swimming around putting it all back together
He's making me laugh so much- he's SO intent on maintaining it, and looks so smug about it!

I love it when my guys make bubblenests. I feel so bad when I do a water change and destroy all of their work.
