They spit spinach, broccoli, carrots and anythin else i tried.

Try some fruits: banana pieces, apple slices, orange slices, mandarin
oranges, grapes (peeled). Mine eat zucchini as well...

Also if you make it into a gel food they will eat a combo of foods

What exactly is gel food?

You make it yourself. A combination of foods mixed with regular gelatin. There is a wonderful thread at the top of the food forum as well as quite a few other informative threads on the subject.

I've haven't become brave enough to try making them, but from all the threads I've read the goldies do very well with them.

The best thing about gel food is that you can make a balance diet for specific enhancements, let's say I want them to have better colors, there i would combine spirulina with blood worms making a color enhancer "cocktail"
