I bought something called "Black mystery snail" at Petsmart, which was most likely some kind of applesnail. The snail bred relatively easy - one day there was a clutch of eggs hanging above the surface of the water. Since that was the only snail in the tank, I assume that it was pregnant when it left the store. It can carry semen for quite a few weeks, so I heard....smile.gif

The one in there pond sounds like a Canna rather then a brigg though because of the size. Also your mystery snails might be both female or both male, and that takes one of each... biggrin.gif

My applesnail breed easily. They have laid 5 clucthes so far, but most were infertile and the other fell in the tank. I have a recent clucht she laid last week. hopefully it's fertile biggrin.gif

I feed my plenty of food and keep the tank between 22c-24c biggrin.gif
