i got some stones... and 5 live plants in tank.
tap water's KH, GH & pH are too high...

GH > 14 od
KH ~ 13 od
pH ~ 8 or higher...



what can i do??..... is there any other way to do this than chemicals?

I'm not sure I'd do anything. With that KH level, your pH will be rock solid and stability is a good thing. The only issue with having pH up around 8 is that if ammonia shows up, it's much more toxic than with lower pH.
