OKAY I HAVE AN ORANGE ORANDA AND A BLACK MOOR. THE BLACK MOOR IS THE MALE AND HE IS FOLLOWING MY ORANDA AROUND LIKE A LOST PUP. SO I HIT THE NET TO GET INFORMATION. HOW CAN I BE CERTAIN THAT THE ORANDA IS A FEMALE? CAN THEY EVEN BREED? IF THEY DO BREED, WHAT WILL THE EGGS LOOK LIKE? SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP! LEND ME SOME INFO! I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE SOME BABIES. ANY INFORMATION IS GREATLY APPRECIATED!

Not to be rude or anything.

Mating behaviour is usually chasing more than following. Your goldies might just be trying to make friends with one another. When males are ready to breed, they will have white spots on their fins and gill plates. You'll know it's a male then.
All kinds of goldfish can breed with each other. I think. Yeah, they should be able to. The eggs will look... small... round... sticky... and will probably be stuck to plants, plastic or live.

How exactly does one fish follow the other? If one has its face in the other fish's anal area, and pushes the fish around all over the place, then yes, you have mating behavior. Basically every goldie can breed with each other, even my koi in the ponds are not spared from one particular nutty comet thats with them in the pond! lol.GIF
