I just got one of those little cube shaped tanks with the little light and filter from Red Sea, so I figuerd I woould make it all pretty and not use typical gravel.

So I bought like 4 packs of this Sparkling Pearl stuff.

IT FLOATS!!!!!

now, have you all ever seen/tried this stuff...is there something Im forgetting to do with it before I put it in the tank??

what could be something else pretty I could use??

I know, I tried some too and it floated. I don't have any idea what your suppose to do with that.

Maybe some of those flat, oval glass pebbles would look nice.

I was thinking of those...I used them for my last betta....and there are so many pretty colors!

You mean you used another color before and it didn't float? I only tried the pearl and it floated so I never tried another color.
