First off we need to know what type of snail you really have. Go onto
Appelsnail.net and look around check what type of snail you have.
Are theres eggs in the goldfish tank?, if so id take them out so that the
goldfish don't eat them.

well they are black mystery snails, I thought theye were a different type, well any ways they are in a tank with otots, mollies, a femaale betta, guppies and platies. I will check out the other web site later, but last night I was on a different site, and it mentioned the differnce bewtween black mystery, and golden apple snail eggs, and that the incubation period is 2-3weeks, and once they hatch should be moved to another tank because they tend to crawl into the parents shells and irritate them.

How exciting Croc_123!!!
What do the eggs look like? Are they in the water or above the water line?

Personally... I wouldn't use that site for information. Half of that information is wrong. Apple snails are actually the genus (I hope I got that right) and what are commonly sold as "mystery snails" are Pomacea bridgesii. My analogy here is that "apple snail" is to "dog" what "Pomacea bridgesii" is to "Labrador Retriever". Also, what pet stores sell as "gold mystery" or "gold apple snail" (generally, occasionally these are Canas), or "gold inca" are P. Bridgesii as well. They are simply a color variation of the natural, "wild type", which is probably what you have.
All apple snails lay their eggs above the water in a pinkish mass. Generally, a snail's first clutch will be small and infertile- just practice. I have 3 laying females right who've each laid about 5 clutches each and none have been fertile yet.
