Crackers probably fall under bread/carbos, which really aren't
the best for goldies. They have problems breaking down the
carbs. Aside from flake food(which should be soaked before
feeding) and sinking pellets, here's a list of stuff you can try to
feed your kids.

Lettuce (darkleaf), spinach, cucumber, zucchini, oranges, apples, grapes,
bananas, watermelon, pineapple, tangerines, peas, dehydrated seaweed,
shrimp, krill, bloodworms, earthworms(put in paper towel for 2 days
to purge the dirt out of their system). Plus they may like some
other things you'd never think of.

I agree, the crackers may not be the best idea...but they will eat a lot. Mine love broccoli, steamed but not mushy this way they eat the florets and the snails can crunch on the stems. It's a messy treat but every now and then it is worth it to see them fight to get it all off! hah.gif

Hi,
Next time, start your own topic with this question rather than hijack someone's topic. smile.gif

Non fancy goldfish (sleek bodied fast swimmers like comets or commons) don't have the problems with floating or swim bladder disorder so you wouldn't have to soak their food.
