Does anyone know how big rubbernoses get, I bought a small, 2 inch one for my 55 gallon oranda tank to help with the algae a little and he has not grown at all, that was 8 months ago now. Could the cooler water be a factor in its matabolism?

make sure it is getting proper nutrition, if it isn't t may change color or even refuse to eat algae if worse. try giving him slightly blanched zucchini that may get them to eat
