my husband and i have decided we would like to get a bubble eye. i know that their bubbles can pop, so how exactly do you, if you have a bubble eye fish, decorate the tank?

also, how do you go about covering the filter tubes with a sponge so that his bubbles wont get popped?

thank you again for everyone's help. biggrin.gif

Basically, you don't. All intake tubes must be covered with a sponge and an internal filter is recommended.

hmm well...

ok...do you think pet supermarket will have everything we need?
Fishbert
Yeah probably. They should sell Fluvals.

edit: I'm not sure about the linking rules. Am I allowed to link to an article on another site that has a forum?

People do it all the time & I've never seen anyone get upset about it (as long as it's keeping to the topic & is an appropriate site! (OK for everyone to view))

Oh, and don't turn on the tank lights. Their eyes are turned up so they can't avoid them.
shypoet83
never turn on tank lights?
Fishbert
Well, I suppose you won't feel very comfortable either staring at the sun all day.
shypoet83
yep, true

I guess that we wont even get a tank light for his tank then
