When I try to geed my goldies peas it usually sinks to fast and when it hits the bottome they usually dont get it <_< Any suggestions??

Hey Whirlwind, do you squish up the peas so they are a little mushy, I find doing that makes them sink slower. Also the smaller they are they longer they float.

what i do is peel the skin off[of course], then squish it to a flatten kind of pea. then sink it, it sinks fast but not as its original density.

Doesn't matter if food sinks fast in my goldie tank, cuz they find every last piece of it.

my goldies got used to eating off the bottom....I have a spot on the right side of the tank (away from the flow of the filter) that I have cleared a spot on the bottom so the food falls there and they know that's where to look for it.

I find that squishing it really makes the fish eat it, i guess it is not as hard.

They usually always eat from the bottom but with peas they dont really.
