will these guys cause a lot of plant damage? ive read that plecos in general will cause plant damage accidentle when grazing on algea of the leaves with theyre teeth I would like to get one or 2 for my topical tank but am wprried about my amazon sword plants, also will they peg of smaller fish like otos or guppies? I ve read that some plecos will. thanks in advanced for any info.

I second that, Sandy. Mine seem to be fine in a planted tank, and they haven't been aggressive with small tropicals, either. I feed mine blanched zucchini daily since there isn't much algae left in their tanks

They are great little algae eaters.
