im barebottom and thats not so difficult. i want it a bit more automated though..

i use bare bottom too. but what ive noticed is that if you have little crevices, the poop will scoop into it. because i have ornaments and whenever i clean my water and try to suck up the dirt and gunk, poop is always under the mountain, some plants, etc.

my tank is small and currents move all poop at one time of the tank so i dont put any ornaments there.......

oh. how small is it though? surely cant be as small as my tank..

I believe you are wanting another filter.

One filter that is the proper gph is fine and dandy. But using just one filter causes a lot of poop to settle into one spot in the tank. Adding another, smaller filter(like a little submersible) can cause enough of a disturbance in the steady currents from one filter to stir up the stagnant spot and allow either filter to remove it.

All you gotta do is place the small filter in the tank so that it blows water towards the stagnant spot.

How 'bout u make a slot that u pull, and poop and a little water get in a seperated compartment in the tank, then close it back, put a bucket under it, and open the bottom?

MY idea is pretty primitive, no machinery, but I'm sure it would work quite well.

I played Doom on DOS when I was 4.

It was really scary.

i had a computer when i was 7!!

you guys are making m feel old! when I was 10, there was no such thing as the internet! Let alone games like Doom. All we had when I was 10 was Atari and the only home computer you could get was the TRS-80 (made by radioshak) and it was only a keyboard you plugged into the TV. The only way you could keep copies of any programs you wrote was to record it on a regular cassette tape!
