Heres a litle update. I no longer have 20 bettas( ) As of now I only have 5. I had a mysterious illness that caused dropsy to kill many of them. I still have my 2 petstore bettas (Blue and Lion) and Pixie the betta that Devs has relatives of. I also have Flower my little CT male that I won from Aquabid and an adorable CT female(Cinnmon) that a friend of mine bred from offspring of Flower and my beloved Jazzy(she was my favorite betta of all time; died of dropsy ) I may breed Flower and Cinnmon for some CTs in spring. I havent decided if I want do all of that work again.

Thanks for the update, Nykole. My betta numbers have dwindled, too. I did have seven males at one time, and I am now down to three. The other four just sort of died. One day they were there, the next day they were on the bottom and then they were dead. They weren't sharing tanks or equipement, and it happened over a period of a couple of months. I don't know whether it was just old age or not. I had them about a year or so at that point. Funny thing, though, one of the ones I got first is still going, but he is looking rather thin and he has a very white chin.

My females are all still well. I currently have my original 7 (which I got last Feb.), plus another four young ones that I just bought a few weeks ago.

Im sorry about your bettas Nykole, it's odd when 1 of your bettas
get sick or pass on, it starts happening to the others.
It's been awhile since i last posted here aswell, thanks for the update on you
bettas. I hope the rest of them are doing well.
