[COLOR=purple]my goldfish has a small, weird spot on his tail . it is red, almost like a blood blister with white in the center. it is starting to stick out on one side. he is acting normal and eating. it does not seem to bother him but the spot has increased in size since yesterday.[COLOR=purple]

Also, at the top of the page there should be a big box in red. If you could give us as much as that information as possible it would really help us to help you with your fishie. The most important being Amonia, pH, NitrItes and NitrAtes. If you don't have a test kit at your home most fish stores will test it for you for free, just be sure to ask them to write down the results for you so you can bring them back here.

And what would be reeeaaally sooper helpful would be if you could get pictures of the spot (several angles, clear as you can). With that bit of info, we can possibly diagnose what the symptoms are.
