gonna go try a rubberlip pleco, since my bristle nose started getting a little aggressive. are rubberlips usually less likely to become aggressive?
Mr. Goldfish
I have heard that Rubberlip Peleco only grows about 6-7 inches max. So I pretty sure it won't attack you goldfish. If you want to get more responces post this message in Compatible Fish. Or you can ask a Aqua mod to. Hope this helps!!!

The thing about bristlenoses is that you have to remember to feed them enough. Often, goldfish will hog most of the food and the bristlenose is going hungry. If they are hungry, they will get quite pushy.

I feed my bristlenose a chunk of zucchini every day. I blanch it a bit in water in the microwave so that it will sink, cool it and then feed. I make a little batch of chunks up ahead of time and keep them in the fridge. You could also feed algae wafers, but goldfish love those and will get them too, unless you put them in when the tank is completely dark.

The thing about the zucchini, is that the goldfish will eat the soft centre, but generally leave the skin alone and bristlenoses love the skin biggrin.gif
