i boiled them and did the vinegar test successfuly.

are they 100% SAFE for tank?

wont they affect GH and KH?? :listen: unsure.gif

I am no expert but I have heard from some members here that the vinegar test is not 100% accurate on certain stones. Which ones I can't remember, so I wouldn't until you find out what you have and if it would be ok. I would hate for you to crash your tank.

It would be cool to have stones you found on the beach in your tank though, I hope it works out for you.

i already have some... they dont seem to cause any problem... My GH is high though... can it be because of sea stones?...

I am not the best at that so I won't comment. Did you start having problems when you added the stone or were they before or how long after the stone was added?
