I'm currenlty try to cycle a 2 week old tank with 2 goldfish. The water is now cloudy and smells like a pond (it is not green). I tested the water and the amonia and nitrite are high so I am feeding less and doing 25% water changes every other day due to the high amonia and nitrite. Could the nitrite and amonia be causing the cloudiness or do I have multiple issues here. Please help!

Thats whats called a bacteria bloom totally normal. I would be doing 20% water change everyday testing every day before a water change. And the biggest part to help you along is NOT to do a Gravel Siphon this is were you good guys live. Also dont rince your filter media right now
