Well, can you guess? LOL~ yes yes~ Cassy has kicked Icks butt to the next century! I was so scared when I saw the spots on his body. I was bit worried earlier because he was hanging out at the bottom of his bowl and not being as active. Also haven't been making any bubble nests. Then one day I came home and saw spots as well as fin rot. :crp I read up on what should be done. I was more concerned about ick then the fin rot. I read that you should get the temp up to something like 83 F? But since I had a bowl, I couldn't put in a heater. So the next best thing I could think of was move Cassy to a smaller container and use a heating pad to get the temp up. I guess that must've done the trick because after about 2 days, most of the spots were gone!!! Of course, I check the temp of the water every so often to make sure Cassy isn't being cooked. yeah.gif I haven't treated him for fin rot yet though. I didn't want to over medicate him by trying to treat two dieases at the same time. I'll probably start tomorrow. Considering this was my first crisis with Cassy, I think it I handled it pretty well. I was just so worried I'd loose him. It's amazing how you can get so attached to a small thing like that. biggrin.gif

p.s. I got something for fin rot, but I'd really appreciate any advise/input on treating it. Thanks~

exactly.gif ....I have nursed a couple of sick fish back to health and now they seem to be my favourites. I tend to look out for them more so than my others. It's my mothering instinct I think lol.GIF

I have had no experience with fin rot but I'm sure someone will post something soon that will help wink.gif
