Hi again, my camera still isn't working. But I am haveing one problem with my betta tank, it won't cycle it started to but then it just stopped is this normal? It has been at the same stage for about 4 weeks. I don't want my betta to get stressed, anything I can do?

What are your readings now?
blueangel12328
Sorry I can't give exact, I just have a color chart.
Nitrate-around 60
Nitrite-0
Ammonia-just a little over 0
Water Hardness-250 (very hard)
How can I fix these two?
Alkalinity-0
ph-0
I know my tank isn't doing very well! Please help!
But Mr. Bigglesworth is swimming around eating fine, and flaring at his reflection, he is as happy as can be, the water doesn't seem to affect him any.

If you are getting 0 nitrite and ammonia readings, and a nitrate reading, then your tank is cycled. You can lower your nitrate reading by doing a partial water change.

I wouldn't worry about the water hardness (my water is hard and the bettas seem to adjust to it), but I think that your test strip is wrong if you have a 0 ph reading biggrin.gif

Your water really is OK, IMO. I would just lower the nitrate by a water change biggrin.gif
blueangel12328
biggrin.gif Okay thanks! Am going to go do the water change!
Thank You!
