anyone know where I could get a pair of snails to try breeding? no such luck with what I have.....

You could try asking snail sellers online if they have any breeding pairs they'd like to sell. Quite probably, either you don't have the right conditions in your tank, age of your snails, or you have 2 of the same sex. If you think it's probably the last one, then if you know which sex they are, you could ask a seller if they'd be willing to part with one of the opposite sex.

Sometimes I see breeding pairs on Aquabid, Ebay, or the applesnail.net buy/sell/trade boards.

Are you looking for a specific color?

Nooo, I dont care about color, I just want to raise baby snails that arent red ramshorns. Curse those things!!! IM pretty sure all my snails are boys, at least my 2 biggest ones are. the others are all different kinds. I dont know anything about the background of my snails...they came from petsmart and pet supplies plus.
Im on applesnail boards, so I may look over there. never thought to look there first...lol

Ask for a Cana female then, there may be someone who'd be willing to sell you one. Plus, Canas are rarer and you could sell the babies for more and with higher demand than Brigs, your smaller ones.

I had your problem too, the all male thing. I had 4 males in a row, 3 at a time. It can get pretty exhasperating. tongue.gif
