My betta still isnt eating!! He is in a ten gallon tank with three danios. He is stressed!!! Should I put him in a 2.5 gallon alone and feed him there. But then when the betta returns, wont he continue to be stressed? Please help!!!
Thanks,

I would Keep him in the 2.5 Gallon Alone Forever. The danios are probably Harasing him when your not looking (at night Time)

Do you have lots and lots of plants in the 10 gallon? That might provide some sense of security for the betta, but as the previous poster said, the only solution might be to have the betta live alone.
Also, three danios is a small group for them. They do better with at least six, even more. When they are not kept with enough of their own kind, they tend to harrass other fish. However, in a 10 gallon, you would be pushing it with six, plus the betta.

Thank you, yes there are alot of plants and he is always hiding in them. Alot of people told me the betta is compatible with danios. I know danios do well in more then six but it is fine to keep in threes (better for the betta.) Will the betta ever get used to the danios? Will it eat eventially? Its fins were tatherred since I moved it from the 2.5 into the 10 gallon. Then after I added the danios. Should I just wait and see what happens or should I move it into the 2.5 quickly?
Thanks

Hey, Hamsta! Please get that poor betta into his own tank and get him to eating before he developes some drastic illness from stress and hunger. Believe me, the betta will be alot happier and healthier in his own tank, ALONE!
I don't mean this post to be harsh or rude. It's just that I love bettas very much
