hi all i am just wrighting to tell you not to buy plants beacuse of the stuff that comes on them like parasites snails witch can really take over your tank and i mean take over as in kill the hardist of fish beacuse when the die they can proper mess your tank up and when you have fish that are worth

You can sterilize plants after purchasing by dipping them for a few minutes in a bleach and water solution. Mix it up 19 parts water and 1 part bleach. For soft plants, such as stem plants, only leave them in for about 1-2 minutes. Tougher things, such as anubias, can be left in a bit longer.

Then rinse them well several times in clean water, and finish off with a rinsing with dechlorinated water.
