At my LFS yeterday I saw a veitail betta a purple one! I was sooo close to buying it and keeping it in a bowl, but something stopped me, it had red ventral fins. Surely that cant be normal? The rest of its body was purple. And the ventral fins were completely red! Other than that it was very healthy, beutifull long fins, and no sighn of disease it was f;aring at the betta in the next tank but he had red ventral fins! I didnt know if it was normal or not so i didnt buy him, the other betta wasnt that nice looking. Mr.Bouncy (what I would have named him) was in this 7 gallon tank with about 20 corys!

http://192.38.244.204/go.asp?plant=047hope that link worked
this plant is loved by my betta. she sits in it all day watching the other fish. if you can get some then this plant is so easy to grow and if it gets too long then you can cut the tops off and replant it. the bettas and other tropicals really do like it as its so soft.
