My betta hasent been eating for a week now and I am really scared what is happening, It hasent been eating since I put the danios in. I think it is because of stress. I just cleaned the tank to stop his stress also. Will the betta continue to be stressed or will it end when he gets used to them? What should I do to stop the betta from the stress.
Thanks

Get a divider, the betta probably just doesnt like the company of the danios, then do the following:
Turn off the aquarium lights and make the room the bettas tank is in as quiet and as dark as possible. This will relax you betta. Now give him 10 mins to explore his tank and it usualy helps to turn the filter down a bit so the disturbance at the surface of the water is lighter. Then put a blood worm or any other type of live/frozen food in the tank and see if your betta eats it. If it doesent then take the food out and put it back in the tank again and again until the betta takes intrest and decides to eat the food. then turn on your room lights. get a mirror and put it in front of the bettas tank. Let the betta flare its reflection for about 45 secs then slowly start moving the mirror downwards, this will give the effect that the other betta (the reflection) has given in to your beta and will give your betta a confidence boost. Because in the wild if a betta sees another betta and they start flaring at each othher and if one of the bettas decides it doesnt wanna fight, it will slowly move away from the other betta, and that means that the betta that ran away was giving in to the other one. So the betta that didnt give in gets the impression that it beat the other betta and boosts its confidence. Do the mirror thing once in the morning, and in the late afternoon everyday until your betta gets used to its new home.
